(Da Vinci Pro cradled wood panel 1.5” depth)\nTitled, We Have Names and part of the Human Identity, series.\nThis is not just history. From the holocaust to Gaza to U.S. immigration detention centers, the erasure of identity continues today. We are all human — more than the numbers assigned to us.\n\nInspired by the stories of Holocaust survivors, this work reflects on the injustice of being reduced to a number (For ALL Humans).\nThe “43” references 1943 — one of history’s darkest years — when countless lives were cataloged, processed, and stripped of names. The fingerprint stands in defiance: a proof of life, a symbol of individuality, and a reminder that no two humans are exactly alike.
